Valley View Lodge

The lodge is rustically gorgeous! The rooms are exactly the decor you would want for the area: quaint, woodsy, warm, quiet and fun. The Christmas tree was a nice touch. The grounds were amazing with all the lights! Front desk service was warm and friendly. Great view off our balcony! The only surprise issue was no elevator to access our 2nd floor room with our bags. My husband was recovering from back to back knee replacements so I had to carry all our bags up the steps. We've never had a lack of an elevator for a high end resort hotel so that was a huge surprise!

Motel 8 with rustic theme. Don't waste your money on this place. 5 star resort it is not. Needs updating. Window in bathroom was odd decision. Would light up the whole room during the night when used. Our kids requested to go back home a day early, they said it was ripoff and tourist trap. We could hear our neighbors on the side and above all night. Cheap place with high price tag.

This is the original Big Cedar Lodge!! Dedicated in June of 1988, it has the rustic feel but modern conveniences that you can enjoy while being surrounded by nature!!! The view is spectacular and it provides easy access to all of the surrounding activities on the property. I would recommend this wonderful lodge to anyone!!!

The rooms are beautiful and they give you a nice snack welcome basket. The only negative is the creeky floors. The guests above us would walk around and significant creek noise.

Room was very clean and well kept, kinda on the smaller side for a double queen. The event number side doesn't have a great view, just of the road, but the waterfall next it was nice.
