Big Cedar

Second time staying here. Some changes in the last 10 years. Our rooms were fantastic! Free shuttle service on property! Beautiful walking trails everywhere! Gentle smells of campfire from our balcony every evening. Our balcony, with overlooks most of the property, catches both the sunrise and the sunset. Fall colors are just beginning to come out. Next week should be awesome!Free in-room coffee is a big plus. If you run out, just call for more! No thin walls here! We really have no negative thoughts about this place! Loved our stay!

We recently enjoyed the trail of lights, which was beautiful, but definitely raised some safety concerns. The nature trail was extremely winding with the road not having adequate paint to distinguish the edges of the road. The trail through the facilities there were very dangerous with pedestrians darting in & out of several cars. I had a couple of teenagers run past my moving car. All the beautiful light displays were crowded with the patrons and we weren't able to get a decent shot without someone else being in the photo. The trail markers were very difficult to see and we couldn't get a cell signal down in the valley to see the digital map. Of course, once again some paint along the road would have helped being able to tell the path we were supposed to be on. Very disappointing Big Ceda

We had a wonderful stay! Great dinner, good lodging, and perfect place for easy access to amphitheater.

Big Cedar is an amazing and beautiful place. There is so much property to explore, food to try, games, and pools to go to. The cabins are amazing. The golf cart rides are very fun. There are so many things you will be surprised by that you can do. I highly recommend coming to see everything even if you're not staying the night. Try the food, the stores, the museums, try anything you can. You will not be disappointed.

The place is amazing, well maintained, and clean with beautiful views. Service is always above normal expectations the on site restaurant choices have great food, with several choices. Park your vehicle and use the free shuttle service. You'll want for nothing.
