Vacation Inn Motel

Photos are deceiving, the room was really suitable for a quick night stay. Affordable and close to airport and cruise ship ports. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Shopping and groceries in walking distance. It is in a more commercial area so the view is what you might expect.

Stayed 3 nights. Good value for the money. Nothing fancy but room was clean and orderly. Staff was friendly. I had advised them earlier that I would be arriving around 4am and didn't want any problems on arrival after a 20 hour drive from Texas. Arrived around 4:30am. They immediately responded when I rang the bell and was warmly greeting and told they were expecting me. Minutes later I was in my room. Had plenty of hot water and the towels were huge and good quality. Had a small fridge & microwave, large TV. Bed was king size with 4 nice pillows. Room was a little small but big enough. Also had desk with rolling chair and a stuffed chair and adequate closet. Compared to chain hotels in the area which are close to $300 a night it's great. I spent $412 total for 3 nights. Nothing close by

The place is kept very clean. It is an old Florida hotel though. Not much in the way of updating and modernizing the place. No ice or concessions. Location is descent... nearby the airport and close to downtown Fort Lauderdale. It's tucked away off the main road that was once probably a popular spot for tourists but is now an industrial area. The owners and staff are super nice although they want you out right at check out time or they are knocking on your door. They want to get it clean for the next guests. So if you want to clean place not too expensive and not too far away from the casino the airport downtown Fort Lauderdale this is a great location if you don't mind the old style of the hotel. Nothing fancy about this place. Can't stress how super clean it is though.

I let my boyfriend choose the hotel, and when we first pulled up, I was a little nervous. But let me tell you — this place has the best customer service you will ever receive. It’s family-owned, and everyone went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The rooms were very clean, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone!

What a pleasure to have accommodating hosts. We stayed here pre and post cruise no problem. We were able to leave luggage before our check in and grab lunch before our check in time. We'll stay again.
