Uptown Inn

For check in: go to the office with the Quality In. Sign. (Don’t be like me trying to find it for a hot minute.) The rooms or upgraded from the photos I saw before I booked, so let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. The bed is not insanely comfy but I expected less for the cost of the room. There’s no A/C only heating. They do provide a standup fan in my room which I immediately plugged in and turns the heating way down. Blackout curtains actually work. Smells clean and nice in there. Main downside: - the noise outside: it’s like everyone forgot where they parked their car so their alarm is going off quickly to find it. You can hear convos happening outside the room. Parking isn’t too bad so long as everyone sticks to their assigned spot

Positive: Nothing! Negative: Shower was unclean, floor was littered, hair dryer mount fell off the wall and the A/C was a fan. SUB-STANDARD

Never again! Cost 160$ per night and rooms have no heat control, slow to arrive hot water, moldy shower, thin thin walls, no room cleaning except once a week, unhoused people in the streets all around, poor wifi, and very tiny seating breakfast area. Do not feel safe here. Light does not work. Toilet very low to the floor. If they charged 90$ a night it might be worth the trashy -ness here. But doubtful. Location is good as far as near downtown but they need to up their games. I used aarp to reserve this place and i will be sure they know how bad this place is. Stains on bedspread. Just yuck

I was asked to leave due to having "traffic" at night. What actually happened was a friend that was visiting had a medical issue and was taken to the hospital. The following morning I asked to book one more night. They said no. I asked what I could do and explained the situation. They finally agreed as long as I gave a 250 dollar deposit. So I did. Its been 2 weeks and I haven't received anything back

This is a decent hotel with close proximity to Olympic National Park. The rooms themselves are a bit outdated (bathrooms in particular) but they were clean which matters the most to me and the bed was comfortable. However there is no AC and the room did get hot in early September. The area is a bit sketchy with some homeless nearby but overall felt safe. I was pleasantly surprised with breakfast. They offered make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, muffins, bagels, bread, yogurt, cereal/oatmeal, and fruit. Not the most luxurious hotel, but it does the job and it’s clean.
