Honestly, one of the best campgrounds I’ve ever been to. Self check in at the bulletin board, they take all forms of payments even tap to pay. $45/night for residents and $55/night for non-residents. The kiosk prints a ticket that you keep in your windshield. The gates to the campground close at 9pm, which means you can’t come or go after that time. Bathrooms, dump station, dumpsters, fire pit, picnic tables. This place has it all and the views are unbelievable. *there’s also free day use for anyone, including your vehicle and/or rigs!
The grounds are absolutely beautiful especially during sunset. Each camping lot is decently close to another but it still feels pretty secluded due to the trees and nature surrounding each lot.
An absolute gem of a campground. I 100% recommend staying here, and more than one night! They do have a reservation system but if needed, also offers a good amount of first come first served sites. The hosts were on point and making sure the area was safe. We had a miscommunication regarding our site for the 1st night but the hosts helped clear it up and we went on our merry way. We kayaked, hiked, biked, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We saw eagles, all kinds of marine life, it was amazing 👏
Plenty of spaces. Some you can reserve and other first come first serve. Many of the reserved ones were taken the whole weekend with no one in them. The bathrooms were pleasantly clean and nice. Even the toilet paper was stronger than most campgrounds. The camp hosts were nice. Lots of dogs. They have big open fields great for dogs or kids. They have a playgrounds that was very nice. A basketball court volleyball court and horseshoe tossing. Definitely check out tongue point. Super cool to sit at. Most campsites are level and have a large place to park. Lots of trailer spaces too. Multiple bathrooms throughout the grounds. Look out for raccoons!!🦝
This camp ground is amazing, I have never had a bad time at Salt Creek camp ground . Reservations go fast and you should reserve when the campground reservation system opens for the season if you want to go between April and September. They do have 15 front row first come , first serve spots. My absolute favorite time to camp is October . The camp ground is not busy and you can explore the shore and the bunkers with very few people . The ocean view is breath taking and the playground is perfect for the littles . You can walk forever and never get bored. Please note when camping after September the water at RV sites are shut off for the season . Potable water is available . Full hook ups are not available at any site but they do have an easy to use and access septic dump station . The racco
