Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel

The location at the Epic Universe park is great. We really enjoyed the efficient security line at the hotel for early entry. The lobby is beautiful. The room was large and very nice and clean, which we expected for a new hotel. Our room was very quiet at the end of a hallway and we got great sleep. ||As much as I liked it, I do think it is very overpriced, especially for a standard room with no park view. ||The staff at the front desk and at the ticket and rental car desks were wonderful and friendly. The housekeeping staff seemed annoyed that we were in our room at 4:30 when they came to clean. ||The bus service to the other parks needs work. The bus is supposed to come every 15-20 minutes, but we waited over half an hour.

If you’re planning to visit EPIC Universe, there is truly no better place to stay. You walk out of the hotel and you’re in the park — the convenience is unbeatable. The hotel itself is beautiful, and our club-level room had an incredible view of the park. Everything was spotless — both our room and all of the public areas were exceptionally clean and well maintained. What really stood out, though, was the staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The front desk team and club lounge staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was seamless and comfortable. A fantastic experience all around — we would absolutely stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed this Hotel. Very pleased with the feel and location. Room was comfortable and had pleasant views of Epic Universe. Pool is nice and the food is delicious. Bar Helios is also a must visit although drinks are pricey. If you're visiting Epic Universe for more than one day I would absolutely recommend this Resort to enjoy early access as well as convenient Entrance into the park straight from the Resort. We stayed in February so the rates weren't too high.

We loved our stay at Helios! The staff went above and beyond to make our trip feel special. The convenience of walking straight into epic universe, far from the crowds at the main entrance was unbeatable and saved so much time. I absolutely recommend going for a park view room - it is an incredible view that lets you appreciate the park in a whole new way, and you can even watch the fountain shows from the comfort of your room. It's that unbeatable feeling of going on tall rides at night and getting that glimpse of all the lights around you, but all the time and in your very own room! The food options were great, and we loved everything we had. These 5 stars were well earned. We first had doubts after seeing the size of the delux room (with a delux price tag) we booked for 5 nights. We also discovered that the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. As soon as we reached out to management and spoke to Nikki she went out of her way to help us. It turned into an amazing vacation with early morning park times, afternoons by the pool, dinners in the rooftop bar and late night dragon rides. We still think the bean counters who planned and built this hotel could have hung at least an accent wallpaper in each room and wallpapered the hallways (it would have elevated it to a more luxurious style and feel) they could have made the rooms BIGGER to justify the price.
