Universal Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites

I think this was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at in the Orlando area. I've been to Orlando dozens of times, but since this was a Universal Epic trip, I decided to splurge on the endless summer hotel. For $150 a night, I expected better, but I was sorely disappointed. The room was not clean, there were hairs from prior guests, dust, and thin blankets, even though it dropped to 40F in February at night, they basically only provide a top sheet. The walls were super thin, we could hear our neighbors on either side and despite me asking them to please quiet down, neither cared even though it was already 1 AM and I was trying to sleep. Just got back from a 5 day trip to Orlando and stayed at this hotel! The hotel itself was excellent. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and the room was spacious and clean. My one criticism would be that the walls are paper thin! You can hear every footstep, cough etc. We unfortunately had an awful experience with obnoxious guests yelling and singing right through to the early hours of the morning so we ended up moving rooms. The staff were extremely accommodating and moved us up to the top floor. Whilst the situation was better, unfortunately the rooms are not sound proof so if you’re a light sleeper like myself, prepare to have disturbed nights sleep! Highly recommend brining ear plugs!! With all of this being said, I still think this is a fantastic hotel and the free shuttles to the parks

Chose this resort for my family vacation stay and it did not disappoint. The check in process was very smooth and quick. The staff were very kind and welcoming. I stayed on the 9th floor and loved the view. The room was also very spacious and comfortable. I also liked the quick shuttle service from the resort to Universal Studios Orlando and all other parks. Overall great stay and no complaints. I would highly recommend.

Amazing location with access direct to I Drive. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity. Easy access to public transport links taking you all the way to the premium outlets Plenty of room for 3 adults. Shower of decent pressure. Walls are thinner compared to other hotels so knocked a star off for that. Overall - amazing and I would stay again. Very clean. All staff super helpful Nothing
