Union Chapel Lodge

Absolutely enchanting place to stay! I was overjoyed at the details in the building and rooms. The sheets were super soft, but the mattress itself could've been a bit softer. The decorations and atmosphere of the school are glorious and wonderful. The host / owner / manager / principals were both nice to chat with and reasonable and great folks. Wish I took photos, sorry 🤦🏼‍♂️

The absolute best VRBO experience ever! 5 stars all the way! If you want a rural elementary school experience with all the modern day amenities - then THIS IS IT! The hosts (Denise and Jim) were the most welcoming and gracious couple anyone could ask for! If you need to stay on the south side of Russell County for Lake activities or vacation - this is by far the most accommodating in that area! Beautifully and tastefully renovated classrooms turn your stay into an oasis. Classroom 2 is perfect if you’re traveling with children, since there’s two rooms with 2 queen beds in one room and 1 queen bed in the other room. Modern kitchen amenities make it perfect for bringing your own food (since there’s not many restaurants on the south end). Board games abound in the foyer for rainy lake days. A

The Smith Family of Union Chapel Lodge have become some of our favorite people. We always laugh our way through time there. It is worth every penny.

Very nice room and quiet atmosphere definitely worth the money and it is close to Lake Cumberland

Great place to stay. Owners live on-site but are rarely seen and are very nice. Would recommend to stay here.
