Timber Pointe Resort

Really nice little place. Owner was the one that checked me in and he was super kind and polite. Fastest check in of any stay I've ever had. I will say the only negative is that it feels like they really want to charge you for other things. In every room there are signs about cleaning fees or maid costs and it does make it feel a little less welcoming.

This place is so nice, beautiful scenery and the owners are fantastic. So friendly and welcoming! The rooms were perfect for us, nice comfy beds loved the bar with high top chairs and coffee pot, fridge and microwave in the room. We will definitely stay here again!!!

We stayed one night in the lodge. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, cold air conditioning. There is a pool on property with a nice bathhouse facility. The owners were very accommodating. We were there with two other couples and all had a great experience. One of the couples booked their room and were accidentally double booked. The owners were so accommodating that they brought their own camper, cleaned it, and had it all prepped for them. Great place to stay and very close to the Jamestown Marina - just a few minutes drive to the water.

AMAZING AND ALL AROUND PERFECT!! *Felt just like Home, beds and pillows were so comfortable *Very Clean *Very nice Staff *Love to see a family business continue to succeed. *Very fast to respond to emails *Pet Friendly, but be respectful and the animals messes up. Not saying it was bad, but if you want respect, Show it like you would want to be shown. You can tell they take very good care of their property. *A HUGE PLUS, if you are a fishman or a fisherman’s wife, know that they have lots of plug-ins for your boats. That was a HUGE PLUS!! Overall I give this place a 10/10. We definitely will be back and make sure you all come and visit us at Pioneer Motel in Wayne, WV. Thank you for working with us also on a late check out. Greatly appreciate it!

I will say I love the place but because I run a cleaning service back home I nit pick alot of things and the bathroom fan realltly bugged me. Other than that id love to return we visit the area often for church in Colombia, and do not prefer to stay in local hotel chains. I love to stay in smaller local owned places!
