Jamestown Resort & Marina

As bad as it was this time, it's been better in the past. I'll probably give them another chance. There were gnats in the fridge, and lots of gnats in the garbage disposal. The worst part is that the best solution they could come up with was to provide us a 1/3 of a can of Zevo spray. We spent a solid 3 hours chasing, killing and cleaning up gnats to get the room good enough to stay in. We killed dozens and dozens of gnats. We still went to town and bought a Zevo gnat trap and caught dozens more. The garbage disposal stunk up the entire room. It was putrid. The hair dryer didn't work. The bathtub faucet is loose. It moves as you set temp and pull lever for shower. The bed is wobbly and squeeky. It's also much too tall. Im 6ft tall and it wasn't easy for me to get into in. It was actually d

Room was clean but well worn. Funny that they said only available on a Thursday was a queen room. I checked in late and there were 2 other cars in the lot. Nothing special but needed lodging close to a home inspection (so I won’t be back). However we love the marina and boat launch. Shuttle service is fabulous! Cheap so I really didn’t expect much. However considering the popularity of the area, Safe Harbor could afford to update the rooms and charge accordingly. Just a suggestion……..

We rented a fisherman's cabin, the accommodations were as i expected. Nothing fancy, just basic needs. Clean. However, getting anyone at the office to answer the phone was nearly impossible. I'm sure we will come back based on how friendly everyone else was.

First time boaters everything was great! Friendly people working at the dock and stores. We will definitely be back.

Loved it! Amazing experience! We did a striper charter. It was so fun. I caught my first fish there!
