Under Canvas Zion

Truly a great experience for anyone who wants to deal with the giant spiders! Under Canvas should be on your “before I die” bucket list. It’s more of an experience than I cozy hotel but it works. The best part is how close it is to the park, every day whilst staying here I’d go into the park. My other favorite part is how beautiful the stars are at night with no light pollution. Highly recommend.

Under Canvas Zion is a unique and beautiful experience. About a 30 minute drive to the park, it’s not the most convenient place to stay, but it’s easily the most beautiful. We stayed in the star gazer tent and were lucky to have cloudless skies every night. Everyone was so helpful and the food was fantastic. There was live music every night we stayed and we loved the community spaces, board games, and activities planned. Weather is definitely a factor as the tents are not air tight. We stayed at the very end of October and our fire went out before morning so it was definitely chilly in the tent until we got the morning fire lit. However the bed had layers of covers so sleeping comfort was not at all an issue. Highly recommend.

This is a great little spot tucked way back in the canyon. It’s beautifully designed we enjoyed our stay. The pros are. They have a great open area for campfires and they serve food and like the main intent. Getting into your own tent may require a golf cart or if you’re able to walk It’s pretty doable.|If few things about the cabin, I would definitely improve upon is that they do not offer any type of comfortable seating. They have two Rocky chairs on the small porch and two really low leather sling chairs inside. All four chairs were rickety and unstable. It would be really nice to relax in a nice comfortable Chair on your deck, but they just don’t offer that in the stargazer tent.|I like to say that the Star geezer that was a big hit once it was dark. |We join the others for s’mores.

We hand a wonderful experience at Under Canvas Zion. We felt close to nature but with the comforts of en suite plumbing (and yes the water in the shower was heated!) and a very comfortable king sized bed. The stargazing was incredible. I loved the scenery of being tucked in the canyon. I actually enjoyed not having Wi-Fi to keep myself unplugged, but we did have good cell reception in the tent. The food was tasty. Reading some of the other less pleased reviews I would urge you to keep in mind that while this is "luxury camping" it IS camping and it IS a tent, not a cabin.

This was a great experience from the second we arrived until the moment we left. The place itself is beautiful! The lady who greeted us was SO nice and helpful. Loved the little tour/info session. Truly, every single employee we interacted with was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. I don't think I have ever experienced such great customer service (even compared to luxury hotel stays). The amazing customer serviced mixed with the awesome space made it a fun and memorable stay. We enjoyed all of the little things - the tetherball, corn hole, lobby area, etc. The tent itself was amazing. Loved all the little details. It was VERY clean. Again, cleaner than any hotel!
