Twilight Motel

We had a great time even though Hurricane Erin was passing through. The owner was super nice, the room was clean,pool was refreshing. 2 short blocks to boardwalk. Lots of places to eat that are walking distance. And pet friendly.

Love that it's pet friendly but the sheets had hair on them. I could see maybe on the comforter but on the inside sheets? This place needs updating. The pool was small but cool. The manager was super cool though and that is why 3 stars.

Although it was a good location and owner was very nice. Our room could have used a deep cleaning. The bathroom smelled musty and stale. There was a rubber mat in our shower and we didn’t dare lift it up. There were 2 comforters on our bedding and when I lifted my sheets there was a Doritos chip on my sheet .. yikes.. I didn’t eat Doritos in bed. Sheets appeared soiled. We stayed 2 nights and that was way more than enough. I will not come back to this motel. The whole place needs an upgrade with code inspection.

Positive: Excellent location, quiet at all times, clean room, great shower, outdoor common areas, big windows that let the light into the room. I had a perfect stay for my first visit to Wildwood and my first attendance at T.R.O.G. Negative: ""

Bed was comfortable, both rooms were adequate enough for me and my family members, it is a pet friendly hotel, my dog was comfortable. Guests remained to themselves, some were even friendly enough to speak. Motel is extremely close to the boardwalk which is the best asset. Kathleen the owner was hospitable when she wanted to be.
