Pier Point

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Pier Point Hotel in Wildwood! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location couldn’t be better—right off the boardwalk and convention center, and just steps from the beach. Our room was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the AC was ice cold, which made a huge difference on those hot summer days. The pool was another highlight—clean, refreshing, and clearly well-maintained, unlike other shore hotels we’ve stayed at where the pool is often overlooked. The staff was super helpful and attentive throughout our stay, always ready with a smile and willing to go the extra mile. But the biggest game-changer for us was the keypad entry to the room. I went here in the last week of October 2025. I had to change rooms three times because Housekeeping had not prepared our rooms. The owner/manager had to upgrade us to a suite. The room gets cold really quick during fall season (no heater), and the hot water ran out while showering in the morning. Great location, nonetheless. I think we went there during the off-season, which is why the service was bad, but I will definitely give it a try again in the future.

As expected! Great location easy boardwalk and beach access. Clean rooms with just the essentials. Pool perfectly sized for a smaller hotel. We had a few questions which were promptly answered and attended to immediately. Nice patio area with tables and grill, enjoyed our morning coffee there each day. Parking is tight but included and was no problem for us. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay in Wildwood and the service was great for the room and hotel. It is small and quiet. Cleaning of rooms was available daily and they helped with providing any additional needs for rooms and replenishment of soaps and towels. Everyone was cheerful and kind. We would stay here again and recommend.

My family and I recently stayed at the motel. We had 2 rooms (adults and small children). Pier Point's new owner, Steve, is working hard to improve the motel. The location is convenient, beds have been upgraded to queens and are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Despite being next to the boardwalk, the rooms were quiet. The guests staying at the motel were all families which was very nice. Steve checked in throughout our stay to make sure that we had everything needed. I look forward to the continued upgrades that Steve is making. He is doing a great job!
