Customer Reviews
I was only here for a couple of days for a conference, but in those two days, I had an incredible stay. The staff at the check-in desk and the lounge were very friendly. While at the lounge, I ate a muffin one morning, and it was delicious. I also had some drinks at the lounge, and I must say that Julia, the bartender, makes the best Long Island Iced Teas. The room itself was very clean with comfortable beds and a TV that allows you to sign into Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The location of the hotel is wonderful, as it is close to many bars and restaurants, like Gentle Ben's, which I highly recommend checking out. My only complaint is the parking garage. It's difficult to get in and out of the parking garage, and it's very busy, as it is shared by both people staying at the Marriott and
I'm staying at the hotel right now and compelled to write a review. Funny enough, I stayed here years ago for an interview at the University of Arizona. The rooms have been renovated, but they still have an older look and feel. I'm here this time for a conference and if I was not hear for business, I would have changed hotels. Here are the pros and cons||Pros|Walking distance from the University of Arizona|Next door to the Graduate (that has an amazing rooftop bar)|The attendant at the Marriott Lounge was fabulous and friendly|Room is spacious||Cons|Room has old, outdated feel to it even tough it has been recently renovated|Bonvoy status acknowledged but that's about it...|Nighttime noise is loud and you can hear the trains coming in from a distance|Executive Lounge food is mediocre at
Positive: Convenient location to Negative: Convenient location to the concert that we were attending in town.
I have been staying at Tucson Marriott University Park for the past five weeks, and I can honestly say this has been one of the most wonderful hotel experiences I have ever had, entirely because of the incredible staff. First, Rio has consistently welcomed me each week with the absolute best customer service. His positive attitude, genuine kindness, and warm smile set the tone every single time I arrive. He truly makes you feel seen and appreciated as a guest. Julia is hands down my favorite bar attendant ever. She is incredibly caring and always makes sure I have the right food options while providing exceptional service. On top of that, her personality makes every visit to the bar enjoyable and relaxing. She creates such a welcoming and comfortable environment. And last but absolutely
Evaluate my stars accordingly. Location and staff amazing. Old bones in this hotel. Plumbing is not ok. Slow to flush slow to drain which makes our core needs kinda a pain. I’d stay here again and deal with it based off location and people. Recommend full overhaul in near future.
