Hard working and helpful while the work to modernize the facility.

It was very late. The end of an 800+ mile day. I was absolutely exhausted and just had to stop for the night. I'm wishing I'd gone on to another exit. The owners were certainly very nice, the price was reasonable and the room was probably clean, it was just hard to tell because it was so old and beat up. The A/C unit was ancient and corroded. A little musty, but it worked. There was no bed-side light switch and the pillow, though it had a clean case, it was pretty old and yellow under that case. I was going to get dressed and walk over to the office to get a replacement, I'm sure they would have gladly given me a different one, however I was just too tired and frustrated that I should have to do that in the first place. The only thing this place has going for them is the location. It is right before/after Dallas Texas. The sheets and towels are stained and brown in color. The smell is horrid. The carpet feels sticky and gross! 🤮. My husband and I are outside.. wile our 6 month old baby is sleeping.. calling our friends and family to let them know we are safe and we get a call from management.... at 8pm!! Saying we are to loud an need to shut the door!? If possible... pass on this roach coach
