Tru by Hilton Tallahassee Central

Very nice facility. Great staff, enjoyed in interactonight and tge hotel. The rooms very clean and tge bed was very comfortable. We had 9 rooms in our party with no complaints. The breakfast was plentiful but the eggs appeared to be powdered eggs, did not look appetizing. The pancake machine was impressive, quality cook perfect every time. We will definitely stay again next year. By the way, it was 25' at night, that's cold for Florida.

The hotel is a five for the cleanliness, facility, and receptionist. It was quiet, room was spacious. Toilet was up to spec and I am picky. The breakfast was good. It’s not your casino buffet and you should not expect that anyway. However, they need security. It seems Tallahassee is run down. Some cars were broken into the night we stayed. The mall had died. Yet there are $2M golf course homes not too far away. Depressing city. We were blessed to not suffer such a loss but it is just the area.

Positive: It was clean. Negative: The water in the hotel is a major problem. The shampoo cannot be washed out of your hair. My husband had the same issue. I ended up using the complimentary water bottles they give you to rinse my hair in the sink.

It was a nice hotel. We stayed on a Thursday night. It appeared to have a nice continental breakfast. BUT we couldn't get to it because there was a bus load of teenagers (young) that was in the lobby. The seating in the lobby is kinda weird for us older people. Its just a huge long couch with a bunch of pillows. But nice lobby and pool table. A nice area to buy snacks. This was our 2nd time to stay here in Tallahassee. We would stay again. We also had a hearing impaired / handicapped room. The shower was nice and well equipped for handicapped capabilities with shower. I myself am hearing impaired but I have never stayed in a hearing impaired room. The only thing I could see that was geared toward the hearing impaired is a very loud buzzing 'doorbell'. Friendly and clean.

We had a fantastic stay here...as always with Tru! Especially this time, though...my son accidentally left his beloved stuffed animal in the room and the staff was kind enough to mail it to our home across the state! So sweet and we are so grateful. Thank you, Tru staff! 😍😍😍
