Staybridge Suites Tallahassee I-10 East by IHG

First, I will say the staff were really nice but the rooms were not clean. The first room we stayed in was covered in dog hair, the tub also was very dirty. The second room they moved us to was a little better but still not clean. It was late and we had two young kids so we didn’t even ask to be moved to a third room. The second room had old food on floor and had a pet odor smell. They “refunded” us in the form of credit to use to another stay but we will not be staying at this location again. They need to hire more cleaning staff or offer more training for the ones they do have.

Got a great last-minute deal at this hotel using the Hotel Tonight app. The property is removed from but still convenient to the interstate, for those just passing through. There is also a gas station that shares the entrance road to the property. The property itself is pretty and peaceful, with a pond out back. The hot breakfast buffet was good - standard for a Staybridge Suites. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. For dinner, we visited the nearby Backwoods Crossing restaurant, which offered locally-sourced food.

Everything was great here. I just had a few small issues. The caulking in my bathroom was fully coming off the wall in big strips and smudges on the door and wall of the bathroom. The breakfast was really lacking in options while I ate. This was the only issues I had. The girls there at check in and out were great. But Mia was the best. She made my check in smooth and very pleasant.

This place is not as advertised. Dingy, dingy, dingy. The furniture is dirty worn out and needs to be replaced. There is no Bar on property ever since Covid. There’s mold in the bathroom. The pillows are low quality. The only thing I can recommend here is the mattress and location.

Only stayed one night. The room was a bit dated. The dishwasher had not been emptied prior to our arrival and the coffee pot/coffee machine was dirty/rusty and had to be replaced. The lamps near the bed were also rusty and there were patches of spackling on the wall. The breakfast was good and the area pretty quiet. Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable. Disappointing stay for what the room costs. Would not stay here again
