Tru by Hilton Lodi

The walls are thin. You can hear full conversations. The beds and pillows are very soft, so if you need a firm mattress and pillow, you might not sleep well. The staff is always friendly. The breakfast has a good selection of options and they stock it until close of service. The showers are nice with good soap options and nice water pressure.

So let me first say that we had a fine stay . The staff were very friendly and as a Diamond member I felt treated well. The hotel is new and modern but there are some real downsides. The rooms are very basic with no closet or even drawers for clothes. The desk in the King room is tiny and the AC powerful but blows right at the desk. The hotel has no suites etc. for upgrades so you’ll get the basic room. It was over 100 degrees each day in Lodi with no pool. There are other properties in Lodi with pools at similar prices. The breakfast had few choices and no real variety. I wanted to love the hotel but doubt we would stay on our next visit. Great friendly staff is a bonus. There is a pool table in the lobby which is cool.

I don't know where to begin my list a wonderful things about TRU Hilton LODI, CA. First of all, it's practically brand new. Perfectly located right off Hwy 99. The interior design is very contemporary and welcoming. I had never heard of "TRU by Hilton." It does not look like a 'budget rate' accommodation. After being greeted by a professional hospitality receptionist named Dawnn, upon entering my room, I was greeted by a television screen that said, "Welcome Sharon!" Within less than 5 minutes, Dawnn personally texted to ask if everything was satisfactory. One would not have expected this at the Ritz-Carlton. Because Dawnn is a "local," she confirmed my ideas for great dining experiences in the area (where I had never previously visited). The complimentary breakfast was absolutely perfect

Excellent hotel, clean, quiet and in a good area. Being a solo traveler the area is important. Breakfast was included and there was a lovely selection. I only had an overnight stay but would definitely use again…. everything was perfect.

Our entire family (around 20) traveled from Florida and stayed here before we headed to my son’s wedding venue for the week. The staff - INCREDIBLY nice. The rooms - VERY CLEAN and comfortable. AC worked BEAUTIFULLY (my personal pet peeve). My dad was on FL time and woke up early and the staff even started breakfast early just to be accommodating when they did not have to do that (nor did we ask). So kind. The staff and hotel deserved me stopping our planning to take the time write this review. They were top notch. 10/10.
