The stay was fine except for the staff opening my door at 8:30 in the morning, not even knocking, the do not disturb sign was on the handle. Checkout on Saturday is noon, so it made me feel rushed and unsafe. I already reported it, the manager was told and the staff will be spoken to. The only issue I have with this place is that I feel rushed to check out. A similar thing happened last year when I stayed for a work event. My stays here are mostly for work, not for a vacation. I am usually solo, so this is a safety issue. The rooms are good, the front desk staff is nice, the breakfast has a good variety, and I like the pool. It's Only the feeling of being rushed out on check out day is where I have the problem. The hotel is in a safe part of Albuquerque. If anyone knows that city, you know
Positive: I have stayed here multiple times. It is a good location for my work. easy access to the highway and resturants. Negative: Couldn't find a pillow that worked for me. Just need to pack my own.
My first time at a Tru. Good stay but nothing in particular to write home about. The property is newer and in a convenient location, well-decorated and the service is friendly. Despite being a newer hotel, it's already showing signs of age. My thermostat didn't work properly and the key card reader on the room door was broken and exposed, leaving a lackluster first impression. The room itself is well appointed for a value-oriented property with lots of storage and plugs, small square footage wise but efficiently designed. I must say as well that the bathroom was quite nice with a generous shower. The location on the highway exit does create a little noise, but it didn't disturb my sleep. The mattress was comfortable and the linens crisp. Overall at the price point it has the potential to b
4 stars because check in was a little clunky, but I’ll give the girl a little grace because some lady was super mean to her. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as expected, good and a nice touch of strawberry pancake for valentine! Shower cleaning could see a little better effort on the walls and corners. All in all I’d stay again because of location.
Very clean and comfortable and the ladies at the desk were super nice and helpful. Although we needed a handicap room, none were available so make sure to ask when making your reservation. However the shower was easy to get in and out in the regular rooms. Conversely located to down town and other areas to see while visiting Albuquerque.
