My husband and I had the pleasure of staying for three nights at The Painted Lady. We stayed two nights in Charlie and one night in Lottie. The rooms are beautiful, interesting, clean, peaceful, and have everything you need, including a full kitchen!! The grounds are beautiful, too. We felt so relaxed that we didn't want to leave! We went to Hoppy Hour one night and had a fun time meeting other guests and watching a 1970's campy Christmas flick that was played inside in a big screen. The history of the place is fun to read about, including what the owner had to go through to get everything renovated and able to run as a Bed & Brew (such a clever idea!). Now, I am not a "ghost person" and am not superstitious but the second night we were in Charlie I woke up in the middle of the night and i

The accommodation was a former brothel with an interesting history. The owner Jesse has made a fabulous job of renovating this property, retaining the character of the history of the rooms. Each is decorated with memorabilia that make this place stand out more than your average hotel room. The outside areas are quirky and cleverly make use of re-purposing items. Parking is secure behind a gated entrance. The addition of the brew house offers the chance to meet fellow guests for a happy hour drink in the bar - a delightfully renovated tram car! The converted tram car is a unique bar experience. Highly recommended. A short walk away is an excellent family Mexican restaurant with delicious food. If you’d are heading to Albuquerque.. this is an experience to savour.

Our Painted Lady Experience From booking to arrival, everything about our Painted Lady experience was exceptional. The detailed instructions for directions, parking, and self-check-in were clear and thoughtful, making our late-evening arrival seamless. The property itself was immaculate, with grounds that felt both intimate and secure. The rooms featured eclectic décor and were equipped with everything needed for a short getaway or an extended stay. A highlight of our visit was meeting the incredible Kate, who hosted Happy Hour each evening. She embodied true hospitality—warm, welcoming, and full of engaging conversation. Kate was not only a wonderful host but also a fantastic ambassador for both the Painted Lady and Albuquerque. Thank you, Painted Lady, for your outstanding hospitality du

Awesome place to stay! History, craft beers, attention to detail, friendly, fun, interesting, spooky, ghosty, and a great neighborhood! The rooms contain hand-picked decor that showcase ABQ's history. It is comfortable and pleasant, and only spooky if you want it to be. The grounds of the hotel/AirBnB are charming and secure. There are private patios, common areas to sit, a fire pit, and the saloon is inside an original Alburquerque bus! Take the time to look at every photo- they're informative and perfectly chosen. Try the beers! The Painted Lady brewery is tiny but wonderful! I'm kind of a beer snob and I was delighted by the name and quality of the house stout: A Naked American Man Stole My Balloons. Great shout-out to a great movie! Just one more example of the owner's attention to

Such a neat spot! Check-in was a breeze, and while we didn't need to contact the ownership for anything, they ensured we had ample resources to do so if needed. We stayed in the Charlie room, which was peppered with relics from the location's days as a brothel and saloon, and had a lot of fun learning about its history. We may have even had a visit from a ghost: the motion detecting night light kicked on in the middle of the night after we'd settled into bed (my spouse was asleep, and the light woke me up). Overall a wonderful stay with a delightful spooky vibe!
