Trout Mountain Coffeehouse & Inn

Our first time in as we were out sightseeing. The staff was so friendly, the coffees I ordered were perfect! I was hoping for the coffee to not be too strong and it was just right for me. I did not purchase any food items, but two customers came in while I was there and they went on and on about how good the home made treats are. I was very impressed with the offerings of special coffee concoctions that were named with Olympic themes. That took some time to put together and all sounded so good. I live about an hour away and wish I was closer to this special place!!

I was only at the coffee shop, but it is soooo cute. I'm so glad Tellixo finally has a place like this in town. And the coffee is really really good. Highly recommend the Black Diamond and the Lemon Bar!

On my way back home to North Carolina, I rode into town from the west keeping an ever watchful eye out for that elusive coffee shop with the exquisite coffee and ambience. And after a couple hundred miles, I'm happy to report that I found it at the Trout Mountain Café. (You could say that I traveled hundreds of miles to get a great cup of coffee.) I don't consider myself "fancy" or difficult, in that I just like a plain old but good "Red Eye" that I can sip straight up for the first few sips, then progressively modify as I drink it, with real cream and good sugar. I'm not really finicky like a lot of people, but I do require my coffee to be good. We stayed at the inn and also visited the coffee shop numerous times during our stay in Tellico Plains. The owner goes out of her way to provide you with a wonderful stay at the inn and at the coffee shop. Both are amazing!! Must visit here if staying in Tellico Plains.

This place was absolutely adorable! The balcony was cute to sit and have coffee overlooking the town. The lattes was free because we were staying there. The decor was absolutely beautiful. And the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Amazing night sleep! Customer service was excellent as well! If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Must check it out!
