Tucked away way off the main road... but its worth it. Lake side tent sites.. spacious sites to give privacy....Jerry was fabulous. Only a call away... other then spotty phone service (only complaint) but really enjoyed just taking the full beautiful nature around us.. No lights at night so nothing but bright beautiful stars to sleep under. This hidden gem is a perfect get away.. 10 🌟 Price...omg! Super worth it.. Check him out!

I almost want to keep this place all to myself. I tent camped on the lake here in 2023 two times. It was the most relaxing camping I have ever experienced. The owners are great and friendly and so are the neighbors. The lake is stocked with Bass and various other critters. It's not huge but doesn't have to be. It is spring fed and clean. A nice relaxing swim at twilight is just so nice. You should be self sufficient if you tent camp. You get a table and a fire ring. There are clean clean showers and rest rooms at the office and a laundry on site. You are out in the middle of nowhere but Tellico Plains is not too far of a drive for all the items you forget.||You are not far from the various South East Tennessee tourist areas and if you are into the Civil War (the first one) You are a short

One of the best campgrounds in the tellico plains area, always well kept, bath houses are immaculate, lake is beautiful. Friendly staff, quiet and remote but not too far from amenities and attractions.

Definitely hidden.. tucked away but close enough. On the trip in depending on the direction of travel you might question your decision on staying here. But don’t worry and don’t judge the destination by some of the properties. The owners were extremely kind and friendly. I enjoyed the simplicity and trustworthiness in the check-in process. Our sight was away from just about everyone, which was great. We spent 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Took some time to eat out in Tellico and visited the Lost Sea on a rainy day, as well as plenty of time fishing the river and the lake directly in front of the campsite. Highly recommended if you are looking for some peace and quiet.

The lake area is lovely in the fall. No camp store. Owner was never seen. Had to call him to get instructions about the shower issue mentioned below. The Bath house needs rubber mats inside the stalls. My son slipped and fell while showering. Thank God nothing broke. He put down an extra towel the next time to keep from slipping again. You need signs in each stall with instructions on how to turn the water handle to get hot water and balance the temperature. My son took a cold shower the first morning. Then we called for instruction. Could have simply put up a sign inside the stall to tell folks. Not as big a campground as expected. The folks camping next to us on right side of Site 5, partied until about 1:30 am. We could hear them talking outside our bedroom window while trying to sleep.
