Tropicana Atlantic City - A Caesars Rewards Destination

On Thurs 03/05/26 my husband and I arrived at Tropicana Resort 8PM-8:15PM for check in. As we arrived at the front desk, we seen a young African-American young lady, whose name we're unsure of . My husband gives his full name and also per usual. He gave her his form of ID and form of payment card. Long story short, she tried to overcharge my husband $235 when an actuality it's $217 because he's a Caesars reward member, once we noticed that the young lady try to pocket an extra $18 by leaving the front desk and going to the back office multiple times that's when we had to notify her manager who goes by the name of Luke, he sort of resolved the issue by upgrading our room due to the young lady, giving us a poor choice of a room that we were not fond of. Great hotel and casino located at the south end of AC. Found the room to be comfortable and clean. The hotel and casino staff are friendly and helpful.|We took advantage of a great week day room rate. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the Havana Tower. Plenty of restaurants and bars for all types throughout the huge complex. "Happy Hour' is featured by a "bar crawl,"" of almost all the restaurants, with discounted drinks and food.|Great for a quick getaway!|And of course the casino!

Positive: Proximity to beach Negative: Dirty window made ocean view difficult. Multiple broken elevators making it take 20+ minutes to get a lift to your room. You have to walk at least a couple of blocks to get from the parking garage to your room with all your belongings.

So until recently I did not like this casino, as a matter of fact until this weekend I hadn't been there since 2016. My girlfriend decided she wanted to go this weekend so on Sunday we went, they were slightly understaffed due to the storm we were having but everything functioned pretty well. The first thing I noticed as we walked through it was much cleaner and a lot nicer than I had remembered. We hung out until about midnight, that's when we realized I locked my keys in my vehicle. Emergency tow vehicles weren't able to get on the roads so we were stranded. And I would like to point out Juan from the security team. Went well above and beyond even walked out and weathered the storm briefly with me to try and help. AAA said they would be there about 3:00 the next day so we were just hang

I booked a room with 2 beds through Expedia. When I arrived for check in, I was told that I would be given what was available. The room was in the Chelsea Tower which looks like something out of the Shining, was cold and only had one bed. The room was extremely far from the casino and "functioning" areas. Our room had no heat, called the front desk & they said maintenance was on the way. After an hour no one came, called back and was told they were in route. After another cold half hour of waiting, I called the front desk and asked if they could just move us. They accommodated this request, once I got downstairs to have a new room assigned, I specifically asked to not be put back in the Chelsea Tower which was granted.
