Prohibition Playce at The Montgomery

This place has so much character, not only is it in the perfect location , a skip away from the beach, a short bike ride to Atlantic City, and a little drive to a family boardwalk like ocean city. You can’t go wrong booking here but I must say, bring the entire family! There are so many rooms and places to be in this mansion that you will not regret inviting your 3rd cousin 🤣 whoever designed this place put so much thought and character into every single detail and I caught myself staring at things thinking WOW how creative, and is this original or is this new? If you get to stay here consider yourself lucky… I can’t wait to come back!

This place is amazing. Not only are you close to the beach, you’re in a mansion close to the beach. The rooms all have a cool and unique vibe (definitely done by a professional interior designer), and very spacious. The most beautiful boardwalk in NJ with lots of cool eateries, and a WaWa close by. I would most definitely recommend this home for all events and gatherings.

We had such a great time at Prohibition Playce! The attention to detail was my favorite part of this estate. It has such character, not to mention plenty of space! I especially love the movie theater and the dining room. Can’t wait to come back!

I can’t say enough about this house. Being a few houses up from the beach isn’t even the best part! I’ve fortunately had the opportunity to stay here more than once and each time I fell more in love. The house itself has SO MUCH character and even more charm. Around each and every corner you find yourself in even more awe than you were in the room prior. All of the new upgrades combined with the old architecture is an absolute dream and the original chandelier in the entry way truly took my breath away. Don’t even get me started on the speak easy in the basement (complete with a vintage ice box- hello, SO cool!) This place was able to accommodate me and about 17 of my closest friends and to be totally honest, the house was so amazing for our large group that we barely left the house! Can’t

I stayed here with some friends for a party & the host and this house are awesome! The history and design inspiration this house has is spot on out of the 20s and a nice change of pace from the traditional “instagramable” spots. The house has great views of the ocean and only a few steps away from the beach. It’s close to a lot of restaurants and bars in both Margate and Atlantic City. I would definitely recommend this place!
