Treehouses at Starved Rock

Beautiful location and property! Loved the decks and firepits. Well stocked unit with plenty to cook and serve. Lots of games. Beautiful books. Perfect walk to Starved Rock trails. Close to downtown Ottawa and great restaurants. Mike was very accommodating with a schedule change. Highly recommend and will revisit.

Wonderfully set up treehouses in a quiet setting. Our three kids and the two of us were very comfortable. We loved that the location is at the edge of Starved Rock so that you can walk into the park and enjoy the trails from one's doorstep. Mike was extremely responsive and communicated well. It was very clear how to use all amenities. We enjoyed the quiet of the winter, but would love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy all the outdoor spaces of the treehouse and property.

My friends and I came out from the suburbs for a girls' trip and this was the perfect location and experience! We had 6 adults who shared Treehouse 2 comfortably. It was a cold weekend, but a few of us ventured out on the trails---we will have to come back to do an outside fire. The inside was very comfortable and cozy with a gas fireplace and controls in all the rooms for the heat. Kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed and there is a full fridge that held all the food we brought. There were lots of cute touches like the decorations, books, and games. Mike, the owner, stopped by when we checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. He is an attentive host that takes a lot of pride in his work and wants to make sure his guests have the best experience

The Treehouses at Starved Rock are amazing! The owner, Mike, was very helpful, extremely communicative, and provided excellent amenities. Each room was cozy and thoughtfully put together. For a smaller treehouse, it felt huge inside and provided plenty of space for everyone. Although we visited in the middle of winter, we still found plenty of things to do with the games/puzzles provided, TV, guitar, books, etc. We were steps away from a trail next to the park, but also only a 10-minute drive away from the main entrance of Starved Rock. We will definitely be back in the summer to take full advantage of all the things this place has to offer!

A perfect and truly lovley place for a getaway within nature! Everything was top quality- and nothing was needed. As a family, we walked the trail right adjacent into the state park. The next day, we drove to another trail and enjoyed the park's natural beauty and convenience to our rental home. One night, we played several of the games in the living room together. Even in the winter, this beautiful home can be used inside and out. We will be coming back in the summer to enjoy this property again!
