Positive: Location best!!Breakfast was very good.Staff, extremely considerate and helpful. Negative: Was not told it was a handicap room.Only that it was a nice, large room.Shower curtain wasn’t efficient enough to keep water from spilling out on floor.There were limited towels…only 2 sets for a room with 2 queens. Had to use ours to soak up water.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful gift, which immediately set the tone for the experience. The staff was incredibly respectful, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. The hotel itself was immaculate, and it was clear that the property is very well maintained and cared for. Every detail reflected a high standard of cleanliness and hospitality. The breakfast was another standout—there was an impressive variety of options, including accommodations for strict dietary needs, which I greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Teresa for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again.

Checking in with Virginia was delightful! The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. The shower has good water pressure. Shorty makes breakfast a delight. The hotel is easy to get to and very close to Starved Rock State Park. A good price for the exceptional service.

Deanne at the front desk was an absolute doll! She was very sweet and I never have a bad interaction with her. The room itself was also very nice. I was here for two weeks for work. The not so great. The breakfast was sub par at best. The cinnamon rolls were the only thing that did not seem to have a funk. I am pretty certain the oatmeal had mold growing on the sides one of the last days I was there. I stopped eating the breakfast after that. One of the evening receptionists refused to let housekeeping know that I needed a full room service (I had been here for a week). He said he did not know how to do that and ask someone in the morning. The room was big but it felt like a lot of wasted space. The television was smaller compared to other comparable hotels. The bathroom was nice. It had good water pressure. I thought the breakfast buffet was exceptional. It's very conveniently located. You can get on and off the main expressway very quickly and there were some convenient stores and restaurants around us.
