Traverse Bay Inn

Up here, October 8 to golf the ninth and wanted to stay nearby but we enjoy having two bedrooms with closed doors for sound control noise but you can still hear the highway noise and they built a big huge Fairfield Marriott and they’re building something right next to this place so We’ll see what happens but anyway it was kind of older place but well kept told mom living room was big wife and I don’t know how to work all that Hulu Netflix stuff but anyway each bedroom at it’s on TV nice little kitchen that we did not use and for what we paid. It was great valueroom 110 on the bottom floor nobody above you we did not hear any door slamming, which is great and actually they close up early and left our keys in an envelope which is really old school, but it’s cool and I’m like that so I would

Hands down a great hotel if you are in T.C. I live in Florida now but T.C. is my home and we stay here every time we come home. Rooms are always clean and if you need anything while staying there the staff is always there to help! Megan is absolutely amazing and always willing to answer questions if you need something! We thank you for our 10 day stay there and look forward to coming back!

Positive: Loved the 2 separate bedrooms for privacy and the kitchenette even though we didn’t use it. Negative: The upstairs window did not have a shade or curtain to block light from construction site next door. Parking was a little tight.

Nice rooms. We had 2 bedroom (2 beds upstairs) with a queen bed in bedroom downstairs. It had a nice small kitchenette. The room was clean. We had plenty of towels. Loved having the fridge with ice trays. We would definitely stay here again. Reasonable rates.

We needed a dog friendly place to stay and we booked this last minute so there was little availability elsewhere. The staff were friendly and helpful however photos of the room were deceiving. Rooms were not updated as advertised and had musty, smelly carpet. The whole suite unfortunately was damp and smelled bad. There were stains throughout the bedding and couch. Very uncomfortable beds. We ended up leaving a day early due to not wanting to sleep there another night. Everywhere in traverse city is expensive, but I encourage you to spend a little more for a better stay!
