Travelodge Inn & Suites by Wyndham Deadwood

When my husband and I arrived I was a little frazzled as we arrived later than expected and I have to admit I was a little hangry...no fault of the hotel 😀. Anyways the nice blond lady who checked us in - Katie? - was very helpful and I felt so much better by the time we got to our room. The room was nice and clean and I had a good night sleep.

We were not expecting the view, it was stunning! Our room faced the back of the rocks but that ok, we were just sleeping. I do have to give huge props to the two young ladies at the desk, they were so helpful and courteous! Kind of hard to find in this generation 😆 our room was clean and we just all around had a very pleasant stay! Thank you!

Absolutely love this place! When I first stayed here back in April I was super pleased with the amazing staff that we had to come back! My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Christian and we adore him! We were so amazed by how well he remembered our names and always enjoyed the little conversations we had with him before we went out & when we returned. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are very cozy. We definently will make this hotel our place to stay anytime we come to deadwood!!

Great value for a spacious room and included breakfast. The decor is dated, but in good repair. Mini fridge and microwave were a plus. Queen sized bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was typical DIY waffles and pancakes with very good pre-cooked omelets. Coffee, soft drinks fountain, and milk were available, along with assorted teas and hot chocolate. This hotel is directly across from the visitors center. Great views of grazing Big Horn Sheep… don’t try to pet them!
