Creekside Campground

We had a great experience on our two night stay at Creekside Campground and would HIGHLY recommend to any other rv travelers. We visited in late October, so the campground and town of Deadwood were very quiet, but I can imagine that both would be good fun in the high season. The short drive to town, the quick bike ride to nearby restaurant/bar and the sparkling clean bathhouses make this place a great place to stay.

Ok, I’ve been camping a long time and I’m giving to give Creekside a very good grade and here’s why, Bathroom and shower were as clean as my home! The girl running the camp was so nice and sweet answered all my touristy questions. People I’m telling you make this a stop and enjoy the beauty, I promise you’ll feel good about it too. Thanks and see you again if I’m ever this way

The campground and facilities are clean and beautiful! We have 10-15 families that have been going to this campground annually over Labor Day for the last 10 years. We have never had an issue until the last two years under the new management. She is horrible, very unfriendly and definitely not a fan of kids!! This year, she double booked one of our cabins. When we showed her the confirmation email, her response was “I don’t know what to tell you. It’s already rented.” She was rude to our entire group during our entire stay. We have always been given first opportunity to re-rent our cabins and RV spots for the following year. She has already rented out three of our RV spots for next year, so there is not enough room for all of us to go. Very sad, as we usually have a great time and have ver

This is a FANTASTIC campground! I'm so glad we choose to stay here during the Sturgis Rally. We like to have a good time, but we also like to come home to a peaceful campground that isn't raging all night long. THIS is the spot! The campground is very well maintained and had a more mature crowd with nicer than average units. Bathrooms were super clean and the gal working the office was exceptional. They even have a little clubhouse and covered area to park your bike! And, they provide access to the beautiful lake at the campground behind them. You can swim, use a paddle boat, or paddle board. Nice flat concrete spots too! I didn't really want to write this as I don't want them to be so overwhelmed with business we can't get in again, but they deserve it. Really very good.

Great amenities, not far from Deadwood. Fantastic kitchen amenities (fridge, sink, grill), peaceful setting by creek with a lake nearby, nice bathrooms and showers, and Julie was super helpful with restaurant recommendations and general hospitality. Cabins are clean and beds are comfy.
