Travelodge by Wyndham Williams Grand Canyon

The owners, Matt & Lisa, are very nice people. We have been going through a rough patch lately & they have provided us with comfort at their establishment. The rooms are neat, clean & upgraded. They have a nice cleaning lady, Diane, who also inquires each day if we need anything. It is also safe & quiet here so we can get our rest at night. If you decide to stay here, please tell Matt & Lisa that Kathy & Andy sent you.

Worst motel on our twelve day road trip.This was our main destination as we wanted to have two full days to roam the Grand Canyon..... that was spoiled as we had to cut the stay short. Room had a chemical smell that gave both my wife and I headaches. Internet was unusable, Bed so soft my back was in extreme pain. The breakfast was the worst of it all. White bread for Toast, a pathetic pancake maker no protein as all not even yogurt. The OJ tasted weeks old. When I tried to pour a coffee a black thick ooze came out....OMG

Positive: "" Negative: The room smelled badly, it was a non-smoking room and smelled like cigarettes. We had two rooms and one of the rooms had ants in the nightstand drawer. We ended up only staying one night instead of two nights we were booked for.

Rooms were not clean, had extremely poor electrical setups, unsafe heating solutions for younger children, and were overall unsatisfactory. The spa/hot tub was very dirty and smelled very heavily of chemicals. Overall not a good experience and not a recommended place to stay.

We booked a room online only to arrive and find out that it was under maintenance and they didn’t have any other of that same type to give to us. We didn’t find this out till we arrived around around 11:30pm after a full day of driving with 3 little kids (5&under). They discounted us a little bit and gave us a different type of room. We went in only to find that the trash cans hadn’t been emptied since the previous tenants and the bathroom towels hadn’t not been replaced. The “continental breakfast” is literally toast and cold cereal. Thankfully the worker was helpful to get us squared away late at night, but everything seemed very unorganized and also falsely advertised.
