Travelodge by Wyndham Powell

Positive: The 2 ladies at reception were wonderfully accommodating but there were problems they had no control over. Negative: There was no body wash. The bath room electrical outlet would not work. We couldn't use coffee maker/hairdryer. Breakfast was a small selection of wrapped breakfast cookies & grainola bars, some withered apples & oranges coffee & tea. Ice machine broken.

Some people might think I’m generous by giving this hotel and average rating, but I think it’s fair when you consider what your options are in Powell, Wyoming. ||The woman checking in was super friendly, gave me a great recommendation for a place to eat dinner and then move me to a renovated room with two beds rather than the King that I originally requested. I think what she means by renovated is freshened up, new paint just a brighter interior and stuff like that.||This is an old motel in my room, 121, opens up to the parking lot. I’d like that cause then I could park my motorcycle right in front of me.||Realistically, this is just a place to sleep. I like how the area in front of the bathroom sink is solid surface and the the path you take from the door to the bathroom is also solid sur

This was probably the best value motel I stayed at within 3-4 weeks of traveling. Great location near Heart Mountain, which was a great hike. There was a very light continental breakfast. Only slight downside is the location but if planned right, that's not an issue.

This is a nice small place right off the main drag. Close to Main Street and local stores. Had a small issue with the person that helped with room service and there are a few things that could be updated. Overall, would stay here again.

We arrived late, due to being distracted by animals on our way out of Yellowstone. The office was closed due to lack of help, but we called the number and were instructed on how to access our room. We had no issues finding and getting in. Upon entering we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room itself. We were not on top of each other trying to just get around the beds. The beds were cozy and had plenty of pillows, including a decorative body pillow that was perfect for relaxing against. We had everything we needed and the room seemed to be fairly clean as well. The location is convenient, our section of rooms was right behind the Maverik, which allowed for easy walking access. Definitely worth the price, especially if you don't want to stay in Cody due to $$$. It isn't
