Travelodge by Wyndham Fort Scott

The ladies at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. We're so thankful for a room with a tub! Room smelled, looked and was clean. Have to say though, that was the loudest vent fan in the restroom I've ever heard 🫨. Other than the fan, when turned on, things were pleasantly quiet. Hallelujah!!! Note that you have to request a coffee pot if you want one and there is no continental breakfast (the only reason for a 4 star). We did not get to experience the Penny Diner as we were on a tight schedule the next morning. We would recommend.

I had a great 3 night stay at the Travelodge in Ft. Scott, Kansas. I was in town for my family reunion and I chose this hotel due to location, price and amenities. Parking lot is well-lit and close to front door of the hotel. I felt very secure parking my vehicle overnight. They offer a pool, but I did not use it during my visit.|My queen room was spacious and air conditioning ran perfectly keeping the room very comfortable during my stay. The fan masked most noise from outside. Upon check-in, I noted train whistle noise and asked for a room on the front side of the building. This was a great decision since I heard very little noise from the road out front and I slept very well. The bed was very comfortable, linens were good quality and there were 3 pillows provided on my queen-sized

Excellent hotel overall, we stayed 2 days here.Very clean place, queit also. Comfy beds, clean toilets.Lots of places to eat around, maxican restaurant next door is amazing.

Absolutely wonderful folks! Had a great stay, clean beautiful room, Penny's diner is a must for food whenever! No pre-packaged garbage, actual good food!

Every time you went to the reservation desk for something they were in back and weren't paying any attention to you. Had to get your coffee pot from the front desk.Really never have I had to do that. The bed was so hard.It felt like I was sleeping on an ironing board.I went down and asked for a different room , and the girl didn't know how to do it. She just said she'd have to charge me more.And I'd still get the same type of room.I just wanted a bed that you could sleep in. We had breakfast at penny's diner just average. If I didn't have family down there I'd stay somewhere else , but there's not any options. Wyndham reward member.
