Travelodge by Wyndham Chehalis

I wasn’t planning to leave a review since we only needed a quick place to nap and shower, but our experience in Room 102 was hard to ignore. The room smelled strongly of dirty feet as soon as we walked in. The feather bed was okay, though unexpected. The showerhead sprayed water up and onto the wall, creating a large puddle behind the toilet. Every towel was stained and looked more like an old mechanic’s grease rag than hotel linen. Only two outlets in the room worked—one was being used by the TV’s power strip, and the other was by the door. When I plugged in a hair dryer, I had to hold the plug in place to keep it from falling out. The only chair in the room had a “trick” leg I didn’t notice until after I sat down. Positive: Nothing Negative: There were people that lived there. Kids running around yelling at 9:30pm in the parking lot. Kids above us running around until 11:00pm. I had to check out of hotel. I did not feel safe after seeing a person using drugs in thier car

THIS PLACE RUINED MY NEW YEAR!!!!!! DO NOT GET A ROOM HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE DIRTY ROOMS AND NO ENTERTAINMENT OF VALUE!! YOU LITERALLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR HERE AND THE IS VERY LITTLE. First room I was put in, looked as if no one had cleaned it, which included food on the walls. It had a removed smoke alarm in the dresser. The screws on the latch lock for safety was falling off. The tv was restricted from playing any gaming system leaving suck with their sad cable choices. the second room looked clean but had bugs around the microwave. I attempted a simple game connections for my new years fun to find out the hotel blocks the ability to do anything else with HDMI connections. Things the front desk lady who was enjoying dinner and chat with her gaming friends while in the lobby on the couch.

Overall, our stay at the Travelodge in Chehalis was genuinely good. The room was comfortable, and we had no issues during our stay. That’s why what happened afterward was so confusing and disappointing. When I tried to rebook, I was told we were placed on the DNR list (Do Not Rent), meaning we can never stay there again. After several days of trying to get clarification, I was finally told the reason was smoking in the room, with alleged ashes found behind the sink. This accusation is simply not accurate. My fiancé and I do not smoke cigarettes at all, and we do not smoke inside rooms. We only smoke flower, and we do so outside, away from the building or in our car, out of respect for hotel rules and other guests. Has bed bugs. My son got bit up! The floor was disgusting. Things were broken like the mirror, the door. The floor had sunken spots. I would definitely not stay here again.
