Dirty portapotty, random people on premises who may or may not be campers? Aggressive dog, chickens with roosters (unexpected; loud)...I don't recommend

The camp is just exactly as advertised. Bathrooms on beautiful hiking paths, with nightlights, very clean. Mowed property areas well kept, not any holes, moles, stickers, etc. Taking off shoes to feel grass is a must. Friendly hosts, a wealth of knowledge in many areas, but only if you ask. Non invasive campers here and there, trees and space in between felt like we were the only ones there, unless you wanted to see others, you would swear that you were alone. It was my best short term camping experience to date. Pros: Tranquility, sanctuary, seclusion from the outside world. Self sufficient hosts setting a beautiful example of footprint free living on earth. Being there, outside the camper, gives one a peacefulness inside that makes you want to respect all life to earn the privilege of ju

Owner was so kind! Taylor was very responsive and introduced us to her beautiful home, garden, friendly residents and the surrounding magic forest. Basic water hookups and a gorgeous meadow in the back made this perfect for our smaller group. Aliens were a sweet bonus

I enjoyed a one night stop on a road trip. The host is friendly and the correct amount of helpful. I had some confusion about a couple of things before I arrived. Here is what I learned... The name makes it sound as if it were a campground owned and operated by the county. It is privately owned. There is no clear sign from the road. Google maps shows the wrong driveway. I added photos of the correct driveway in Google maps review. I didn't see any place for a camp fire, but also I didn't ask. Cell signal is not robust for AT&T. On the web site there is a link for reservations. It goes to Hipcamp.

The trails can be a great work out or as peaceful as the stream that runs on the property. They have several secluded campsites for the adventurer that likes to go off grid. Close to several streams that are great for the rockhound who can't resist beautiful agates.
