Travel Inn

I’ll start by saying that this motel exceeded my expectations. I paid $120 for a night (I booked only a day in advance, so it’s going to be more expensive anywhere doing that). I had to be up in Fortuna for a wedding the same day and asked about checking in early. The guy at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly and allowed me to check in early. There is plenty of parking. After checking into my room, it was very clean and it even had additional basic amenities I wouldn’t have expected from a 2-star motel. I had no problems with the room, and the layout makes it super easy and comfortable to stay in for a night. Postives: Clean bed, clean shower/bathroom, free wifi, fairly quiet location||||Negatives: ||Every single piece of furniture in the rooms should really be taken to the dumpster - can't even sell this junk on CL. Dirty carpet. ||||Overall - I've been to worse places but this is not a place I'd use for anything other than a late arrival and early departure the next morning. No fitness center or swimming pool (not included in negatives/positives because I, personally, don't care if they have this or not).

I really loved staying at this Hotel! The owner/Manager was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Also this is most likely the most quite and peaceful hotel I've ever stayed at in Fortuna and Eureka. Their was no druggies or bad things going on and felt really safe at my stay here. One more thing, I walked outside one evening and seen a few deer in the parking lot,even the deer were enjoying their stay here. Good Karma at Travel Inn,I highly recommend everyone come check them out

Newer vedding, newer carpet. Great shower, hot water. Clean. Manager was very friendly and always seen cleaning rooms. Very quiet location. Close to restaurants. Try Paul's New York Pizza within walking distance. Best pizza I have ever had. L'S Breakfast restaurant a few blocks away serves Humbolt coffee and comfort food, excellent.

Older hotel, simple rooms. Check in and out was really fast. Good value for the money.
