6 Rivers Motel

I drove for 12 hrs from San Diego to Fortuna only to understand that my room was double booked. The manager said they had to cancel my reservation. I asked if they have any responsibility towards their bookings, her answer was " the cancellation is not my fault, and unfortunately we have no other rooms left available either. " I slept in my car for the night with 3 more passengers, Interesting to find out later that I got charged the full amount for cancelling the reservation.

Very affordable especially compared to the corporate hotels in Fortuna. The garden area is beautiful, it felt secure,and the rooms were clean. Walking distance to gas stations, restaurants, grocery shopping, and laundromat.

Room was recently remodeled and clean but the bed was horrible. The bed had 1 blanket that was paper thin with no extra bedding available. The room didn't have a chair to sit on, no night table by the bed, just a lamb that was on the floor and the TV Cable didn't work. Would not recommend.

Called with terrible reception on my end and got the room held for me it was the last one. No hassle super lax and still professional frontdesk help.

I called late in the evening looking for a well priced room with one bed, owner was extremely nice he is vary big about family and professional. I was 45 minuets away when I called he said he had two room I told him I would take one and would be on the way, as soon as I arrived he told me two people called after me and he held the room for us hewas vary accommodating. The room was clean and in vary nice condition even other people staying there were vary friendly. The next morning we met the cleaning lady Michelle I think her name is she was vary nice we talked for a while this will be my first place I look when coming to stay in town would strongly recommend.
