My first choice when I need a motel in Farmington. Convieniently located for those withbusiness on the west side of Tarmington. Very clean, few amenities but everything you really need. Quiet. Price is right. Older property. Everything works, but could benefit from a little touching up by maintenance staff.
They charged me at least $20 extra for paying to extend my stay early before check out time I was charged $167 the first time that I paid for two nights and then close to $190 which was when I paid the second time for another two nights at 9am and check out wasn't until 11am according to them. So I would wait until close to check out to pay each time. The day before I had paid early, they had the main office closed until late in the afternoon with no answer on main phone or alternate number written on their closed sign. Which had me postpone my plans since I didn't want to leave my belongings unattended. And they repeatedly harassed my guests who were not staying overnight. Guests are allowed just not overnight are their rules. But the friendly old man in a wheelchair next door would smoke
There are very few options in the Farmington area and I mean very few. We settled on this place after driving past one or two others. It looked rather run down and I was truly concerned about having my family stay there except we really didn't have a better option. The room was older but everything was clean and the man in the office was very nice. He immediately brought the extra towels and pillows we requested and he helped my children get on the internet. The room was comfortable and we all got a good night's sleep.
Rooms are nice. A bit dated, but clean and cared for. Walls are thick, so not much noise. And though it's a cheaper place, we didn't see any of the usual sketchy guests you see at the more budget friendly hotels. Family owned and independently operated, and the owners are SO nice. And they didn't gouge us on the price when other hotels were marking up their rates 3x+ during a particularly busy weekend. Will definitely stay again.
Lady was very understanding and helpful. Unfortunately, the bathroom had bugs and roaches but what really concerned us were the pillows that had weird burn marks, blood splatters, and other small stains. Will be booking another room, but if you can ignore all that and you’re here just for a night this might be the place to be! Really appreciate how nice the lady was.
