Holiday Inn Express & Suites Farmington (Bloomfield) by IHG

Great hotel. From the minute I checked in, there was good customer service. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Anytime I left my room I always saw someone cleaning. There was even a robot vacuum going up and down the hall when housekeeping wasn’t present. As for the room, soft comfortable bed, fridge, coffee maker, iron were great to have. I forgot to bring my shampoo and conditioner and I hate using the ones provided by the hotel. However I was pleasantly surprised they had Dove products in the room! The shower pressure and temperature were great. Overall no complaints with the hotel itself. The location is in a bit of an odd area, a little industrial. However it was close to the location of an event we were attending.

This is a good hotel to stop at. The rooms are a little aged but clean with comfortable beds. Best shower pressure I've had at any hotel. Biggest negative, not enough carts for luggage. I had a very heavy tub of Christmas presents that I didn't want to leave in the car. No luck getting a cart in the early morning. My back is now suffering.

This was a standard Holiday Inn Express. Good king size bed, decent pillows, all the amenities.... Refrigerator (however, the freezer was not working), Coffee Maker, microwave, safe, ironing board. The room was clean and the breakfast spread was good. (Oh, I do love those cinnamon rolls!)||My only frustration was the new standards for the room. I am 75 with a few mobility issues. The new standards for the hotel is a toilet that is far more appropriate for kindergartners since it was only about 13 inches high so the toilet was too low. The bed on the other hand was so high it was difficult to get into without flopping on it and then climbing in. That isn't a hit on just this hotel, but most hotels on our month long trip. When returning to work and checking in the staff remembered my name greeted me like I never left. The breakfast is always hot and there is a big variety for to eat and start off your day. Rooms are quiet air conditioning amazing and quiet sleep in the room is great. This will be my second year staying at this Holiday Inn thank you for experience.

This has got to be the nastiest Holiday Inn I've ever stayed in. It looks as if a fresh coat of paint was thrown onto an old rundown hotel. The paint job is massively unprofessional and looks as if they painted over drywall problems instead of fixing them. It smells like an old musty hotel which makes it clear that they didn't actually clean anything before painting it. The toilet in the bathroom is right against the wall which makes it awkward to use. It wouldn't be so bad but they decided to put the toilet paper roll dispenser right there next to you which makes the whole experience much more awkward. I had to sit on the toilet at an angle and remove the TP roll from the holder before going so I could reach it. The grounds outside also looked unkept. Yes, it's a Holiday Inn but for th
