Tranquilo Hotel

Tranquilo Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL|[email protected]|| We stayed at the Tranquilo 12/25-27 when we were in Ft. Lauderdale to attend an educational conference.| |As you well know, you have a lovely property|… however, we had some major issues| |#1 neither television was working when we turned them before bedtime| |#2 the next day when I called to notify the front desk I had to remain in the room while a variety of folks worked on fixing the televisions| -first to try where a man & a woman who tried & tried without any success| -then they called in yet another fellow who came & said the TV was bad & that he would have to remove & replace it with another|| #3 my wife & I were unable to attend our conference since these TV difficulties too

Our second floor studio room was big with a separate kitchen area that had a full sized fridge and table for 4. There are no elevators as the there are only two floors so keep this in mind if you have issues with stairs. We had 2 TVs in our room. One with the beds and one in the sitting area that had a couch. The room was very clean. I wish i found this place earlier. The location is perfect. You can walk to the beach in just a couple minutes. (Under 5 minutes). The staff at the front desk were great. Housekeeping was terrific. Beds were a little too soft for my preference but not a deal breaker at all. I’d stay here again. Thank you for the lovely stay.

This place is a dump, think schitts creek. The floors are really gross and rooms are very outdated and not nice at all. The pool ony has a few chairs. I don't know how it could possibly have such high reviews. The front desk people were nice and they did come and get dirty towels/bring new ones daily and change trash bags. The location is convenient and walking distance to beach and restaurants. If you're just looking to sleep I guess it is fine.

Positive: The hotel was conveniently located near dining, and the beach, but just far enough off of it to get a quiet night's sleep. Loved that I could walk to the Ft. Lauderdale Beach Blvd and walk along the beach on the sidewalk there. Negative: Would like to have had more accessible outlets for charging. Also, I may have left my beats fit pro earbuds, but that was my fault, not theirs. I loved it and would stay again.

I seriously have nothing but good things to say about my stay here. Super easy check in, help around the clock. I got home late one night, my room key wasn’t working (could have been me) but a gentleman came over fast and helped me out late at night. Check out is an easy process too. My room was super clean and loved the presentation of the bathroom and room. Staff is the sweetest. The beach is around the corner with so many restaurants near by too. Didn’t have noise complaints at all, I will 100% be coming back here next trip with longer stay.
