Trails End RV Camp

We no longer have an RV but when we did we loved Trails End. Joey & Lavonne were the owners then and we became pretty good friends. We sure appreciated their kindness to us. They sold it and now Joey has passed but it still looks good. We drive by often. I recommend it. It’s a safe, quiet and an extremely clean place to go whether full time or just visiting for a few days.

This is my 1st review for this Campground .. I moved very last minute. I started talking to Terry back in August. She was very kind and responded extremely quickly every time I had a question. I felt a sense of ease every time I was in contact with Terry. Was not sure IF or WHEN I was going to make a move. October 2nd, I reached out to Terry again and let her know I was almost 99% sure I was going to make a move. She let me know what she had and all the logistics. She sent me pictures (I could not get to the campground to look at the available sites at that time) of the site she was thinking would fit my needs. Boy oh boy, what a surprise... she knew me already. I fell in love with the site unseen in person. I was going to have to wait 2 weeks for my son-in-law to move me since I do not ha

What a lovely, clean, secure and quiet RV park. If you are just traveling through for a night, visiting family, or need longer term this is the place. Staff are friendly and most helpful. The dog park is clean and centrally located. And if you like, you can take a quiet stroll down to the lake for peaceful reflection.

This is the very best place for Seniors to live full-time. Been here 6 years. We don't plan to go anywhere else. We are all family here. Very close community. This is not a place for children. We have nothing here to offer young families. We have friendly neighbors, love visiting with each other and walking our pets. QUIET AREA. Many old fishermen out here too. LOL.

I moved here 3 days ago after a terrible experience at Lake Palestine Resort, and I couldn’t be more happy with this place. I have a nice shaded spot, wonderful and helpful neighbors, free ice, a laundry room, lake access for fishing, and I can get my mail delivered here! This is my first time RV living, and it has been such a learning curve for me. My neighbors have been so welcoming and helpful with teaching me how to do/use different things in my RV. There’s even a lovely man who will refill my propane for me! I have been treated with nothing but kindness and while this is a community with mostly retirees, they accepted my young self with open arms. This place is perfect for long or short-term stays.
