Trail Motel

It's only just began but so far the room that I got wasn't clean the bed still ha d hair in it from the previous guest and the dresser and nightstand drawers had hair and fast food wrappers in them. But after an hour of waiting for them to clean it properly and change the bedding. I found it to be very small and claustrophobic. The walls are thin and not well insulated as I can hear my neighbors and feel the cold air on the outside walls. Just overall not very pleasant. FYI if you do a weekly rate the house keeping is only done once a week and your only givin 2 towels so my math isn't great but it don't work out right for me. Definitely spend the extra 20 bucks and go to a different hotel.

Great hidden gem! It's a small place but it had everything we needed for a great night sleep (including memory foam mattresses). Best price in town too. We only paid 55$ for a double room! The manager was very friendly and helpful too. It's true it's not the Hilton, but hey, at least we had a microwave in our room. Long story short, if we're ever passing through Bowman again, we're staying at Trail.

I'm happy to spend my money with this salt-of-the-earth lady who is a long time local and happy to accommodate any way she can. The rooms are older but always clean and I always get a good night's sleep. Have stayed there many times. The rooms have a good heater in the winter, A/C in summer.

9/13/2010 All the motels in town were filled with construction workers, no unemployment in this area (our stimulus dollars at work). We would have preferred The Super 8, but it was filled. So we settled for the Trail Motel and were lucky to get one of the last rooms available. It's an older motel and the rooms are musty but clean. We opened the doors and windows to air it out, big mistake, the room was full of flies in no time and we were swatting flies for hours. The beds were ok and there was a small refrigerator , microwave, and coffee pot in the room. We paid $76.30 for two queen beds and 3 adults. Don't think they could have got more than $45 or 50 if it hadn't been for the construction workers. One other note of caution. There's not many eating places in town but would AVOID

The owner was very accommodating. We stayed there once and several weeks later we were coming through again. We called in the am to say our ETA would be midnight. She said she would leave the door unlocked and that we could settle the bill in the morning.
