El Vu Motel

Made reservations, gave a time of arrival. Office was locked and no one answered the phone after numerous calls. I’ve been visiting the area and staying at El Vu annually for 20+ years. Finally, someone answered, said they were unaware of our reservation, staff didn’t have a car to come to the office to serve us. I’d give this 0 stars if I could, customer service was garbage. Don’t waste your time.

I made a reservation one month in advance for Oct 2, 2025, but they didn't have my reservation and wouldn't or couldn't honor my confirmed reservation. The young woman at the desk was useless and gave me attitude. I assure you I remained calm. She tried to call her manager who didn't answer. They failed to call me with any resolution.

Nice clean rooms. Excellent shower pressure!! Laid back atmosphere. Would definitely stay again!! Thank you!

Super freindly and helpful staff. Great parking. Awesome location. Furniture is dated, but in great shape! Rooms are absolutely spotless. Very affordable rates

This has been miscategorized as a B&B. It's not. It's a drive up motel.||That being said, my stay here was okay. The furnishings were old but the bed was comfortable and the shower worked. (At first the TV didn't work, but the hotel attendant quickly came by and provided me batteries for the remote.)||Some of the units (like the one I stayed in) are older and in steel buildings, but others are newer. The hotel says that they are building more units to accommodate more demand. So you may get a room nicer than the one I had.
