The bed was rock hard, and the mattress was noticeably lower at the headboard than at the foot, making it uncomfortable enough that I slept with my head at the foot of the bed.||Breakfast was also disappointing. On the first day, the only hot item available was very thin bacon. When I asked if eggs were being made, the breakfast attendant told me, “We no longer make eggs on Wednesdays,” and said there was nothing she could do. The following morning consisted only of unappetizing pre-packaged items. It wasn’t until the third day—after reporting the issue to the front desk—that bacon and eggs were available.||My stay ended early due to an unavoidable family situation that required us to go home immediately. Beautiful rooms. Very comfortable and clean. The service is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, answering all questions and addressing all issues effectively.|The hotel features a full breakfast, a gym and a swimming pool, and an elegant lobby decorated for the Christmas season.

The room was very nice having the full-size coffee pot is great!! The front desk people were very nice and we were able to answer my questions. Good morning breakfast was great. There was plenty of choice choices.

Pros: Outside of building is very attractive and conveniently located. Rooms are quite nice: Tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, nice selection of pillows; very clean. One of the ladies at the front desk was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Cons: Lobby and halls are undergoing renovation, so it felt a bit like living in a construction zone. I'm sure it will be very nice when they're done. Food shop up front was extremely overpriced. Maybe that's normal? One of the ladies at the front desk could hardly be bothered to look up from her phone and acknowledge our existence. Pool was extremely loud; a few sound tiles on the roof might not be a bad idea. Overall, a nice place. I'd stay there again.

The reason for 4 stars: 1. the mattress was as firm as concrete 2. housekeeper gal knocked on our door at 10:10am asking when we were checking out— so we felt rushed to leave. The gal at the front desk was very inviting, the hallways smelt pleasant and were clean, the room was clean and I felt safe staying there. The location is a little odd, but it was really quiet. The breakfast … let me just say the breakfast was OUTSTANDING!! townplace suites had hot breakfast that was fresh- the BEST breakfast in all of our hotel stay experiences.
