TownePlace Suites by Marriott Duluth

Great place. Breakfast is good, beds are comfy, although the couch that folds out definitely isn't the most comfortable thing ever. Would come back here! Extremely clean and the front desk workers are very nice.

Our new favorite hotel in the Duluth area! New, clean, quiet, comfortable, and very helpful, friendly staff. Everything smelled fresh and clean in our room and throughout the hotel. Once we were in our room we looked out our windows and were greeted by a family of deer. The couch was comfortable at the end of the day watching the large in room tv. As of yet, we haven't tried the shower nor slept on the bed. I am expecting both to be good. The location is minutes away from everything we want to do. We definitely will be back.

Unit had an issue with insects but this could be due to time of year.

Stayed here for 1 week in August. The staff was nice, courteous and attentive. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was free and good - there were 2 wedding parties at the hotel while we were there so breakfast was chaotic at times. Parking was spacious. Easy in/out to the hwy. Off the beaten path, but close to most things - about a 10-12 min drive into downtown Duluth. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is clean and service is fine but we were given a room with 1 bed and what they called a pull out couch, for 4 people. It was the worse contraption I’ve ever seen for sleeping on. Do not book the studio with 1 bed and “pull out couch” if you have more than 2 people. It’s a joke. Also, the rooms are so small and the AC/heat unit is one of the loudest I’ve encountered.
