TownePlace Suites by Marriott Baton Rouge Gonzales

Housekeeping is absolutely horrendous at this location, staying here presently for 1 week this far and housekeeping has been the absolute worst ive ever experienced. The room is not being cleaned, garabge left in bin even after a service, bathroom not cleaned, dishes left in sink, counters not being wiped. You'd swear the 2 times housekeeping came by so far, all they they do is make up the bed, and thats 2 times after staying there 8 days thus far.

My Stay was nice. The front desk staff Shawnree was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and tidy. I will be back whenever I'm in the area. I recommend staying here if you are in the Gonzales area. Breakfast was great as well. Check them out!

Front desk employees are very helpful and friendly. Maintenance and housekeeping have been great. I love that they are pet friendly. My little dog, Lucy, has a great time down at the lobby meeting new people and their furbabies. Most people are staying here from the hurricane and the others seem to be construction workers. Overall very friendly people. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to stay.

Baton Rouge, LA is a truly awesome place to visit. Starting with a great place to stay, Towne Place Suites by Marriott. And, if you enjoy a little gaming, then a casino is only 12 minutes away.

Rooms and hotel overall were clean. The floor did feel like I wish I brought my slippers or sandals so I didn’t have to walk on it. Had a waxy feel to it and maybe needs a deep clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and well stocked. The bathrooms could use some updating to their fixtures and mirrors due to moisture causing damage aesthetically. There was also some staining or dirty spots on our curtains as well. The kitchen was well stocked which was great! I docked a star because of the floors, dirty spots on curtains, and we ended up with a massive water bug in one bedroom and another monster water bugs roach in our bedroom with a juvenile roach with it. Granted where we were and all the surrounding water and moisture, it’s understanda
