TownePlace Suites by Marriott Albuquerque Airport

Excellent customer service and friendly staff. The hotel was clean, but outdated. I don't like the misleading photos on the Marriott website. The hotel definitely needs some refreshing, fresh paint, light fixtures, carpet, bathroom fixtures etc etc. The room was comfortable, I slept well. The shower was very hot and great water pressure. The sink made a noise, like a continuous draining noise. We came in late and left early, so I didn't bother the say anything. The gym is small, but efficient for a quick workout. There is a filter water system available to refill your water bottles. The complimentary breakfast was nice. Plenty of drinking options and continental food options. Complimentary parking as well. This was a good option for a short overnight stay.

The staff here is exceptional! Michael, the maintenance man, had to assist with a drain. He was FAST and super friendly. He deserves to be recognized as a TOP employee!!!The front desk staff was fantastic as well. The rooms were clean and spacious.

We stayed for one night and booked in advance using Bonvoy points. The hotel and room were clean, and the location is very convenient with several restaurants within short distance. Overall, it was a comfortable short stay and the property itself is well maintained.

Positive: The rooms that they had to offer, which had two bedrooms inside and was convenient for our family. Negative: The hotel is going through a remodeling process. Our room was in a poor state and all issues need to have been addressed prior to allowing guests in.

Close to the airport (less than 10 minutes from car rental). Upgraded free of charge to a larger suite on the top floor at check-in. Room was quiet at night. Had a restful sleep. Admittedly the room was older and needed some love, but at this price point, I’m not complaining.
