Town House Motel

So a working partner and I stayed at this location for work. The lady was nice and allowed me to reserve a room ahead of time. Great price for a traveling worker in my opinion. However I was there 8 days and 3 of those days I did not have hot water to shower. The toilet handle was broke had to pull the lid and stick my hand down in the water to pick up the chain to flush. My partners room had broken off shower knobs he had to use vice grips to operate the shower. The ceiling in the room I was in leaks in the closet when it rains and there was mold growing. The main light and Ac unit in the room the cords were visible and spliced in . Also I was informed that they do not do refunds on weekly rates so my second week I just paid for a few days. Which I did not stay for but was also refused a

Needed a place out of the rain. Don't expect much. Not too many motels in the downtown Opelousas area. Very poor looking motel. Small room. Needs to be repainted. No smoke detector. No bedside lamps. There was a problem with the wifi network so it didn't work too well. Very disappointed that I had to pay $45 for the room and also to fork out a $10 key deposit.

Best bang for your buck. A clean no frills hotel. Under new ownership and the atmosphere has improved. I felt safe and relaxed. Enjoyed my stay

This motel is definitely worth the money. I paid $58 with tax for a single bed. I mean, come on, we all know it's not the Ritz, hell its not even the Holiday inn but its clean, its functional and its provides a safe roof over my head. Things are going to get SO much better too. I met the NEW OWNER and she is overflowing with ambition and the asset to change this place....for the best. Renovations are beginning in all rooms with new tile and carpet, new furniture, fixtures, ceiling and walls. She plans on creating a different style theme for every room. Located in the oldest part of Opelousas, just steps from downtown . I'm so excited to see the outcome of this project. To be able to stay in a room themed exactly how it would be in 1920's from furniture to accessories...a step back in time.

The room was clean. The atmosphere was safe. The price was right. The service was great. I will stay again when I’m in the area.
