Top Hill Motel

Don't take the rating seriously! I think the low rating is due to problems from a few years ago. The man at the front desk was a very nice guy. The rooms were clean and comfy! Only a two mile trip to town. Definitely give it a shot.

Just a couple Alaskan bikers riding beautiful upstate New York. Reasonable roo., older but was very clean.

We stayed here 2 nights and I had no problems with the room or the pool.||Hotel staff were polite and helpful, the rooms were clean and adequate for the price. It had a microwave, fridge and relatively new A/C unit. It looks like they have been making improvements to the building itself.||Bathroom was very clean and the shower worked well. Took a bit to get the water hot but no big deal. It’s an older motel. ||The pool was beautiful and clean. Well maintained.||It you are looking for modern decor, big fluffy towels and bathrobes along with coffee makers and ironing boards with irons provided in room, this motel is not for you.||If you are looking for a place with reasonable rates, clean rooms with your basic towels and washcloths a bar of soap and shampoo packets this is your place!||Close

This motel has good and bad features: it’s good because it’s close to town by car and it’s inexpensive and clean. The beds are pretty comfortable as well and the coffee set out in the office in the morning is nice. You drive up to the front door and even though the room faces the street, it’s pretty quiet. The a/c and TV were new. There was a microwave and fridge. The bad features are the lack of decent amenities. The towels are like sandpaper, the shampoo comes in packets that require scissors to open, the floor literally sloped at the far end. That was weird. The sheets and quilt were tacky, there were no tissues. The toilet wasn’t bolted down completely so it shook when you sat down. When I asked the woman at the desk for another hand towel since there were two of us, she said “I alrea
