Tomales Bay Resort

Rooms are basic but comfortable and cozy. The location of this place can't be beat! It's right on the water and perfect for kayaking or hiking. Check-in process was easy and the resort communicates well with you about your arrival (via text).

Stayed for 1 night late October. I've stayed here many times and in most of the rooms. It's pretty simple, very clean, comfortable and quiet. I stayed mid week, shoulder season and in the cheapest room and it was still $200. These days bayside in Pt Reyes , that's a bargain. Remember, there's Chicken Ranch beach right next door and kayak rentals. If the bay is calm in the morning, you can paddle for an hour or so on smooth water. The best sandwiches are 5 minutes away at Inverness Park Market. Also, the motel has a nice library and some charging stations for the car. All in all, it’s a plus.

First time staying here and my expectations were low since none of the view rooms allowed dogs. I was thrilled when I saw my room! Two windows facing out at the bay, perfect grassy area right outside the front door, the super nice lady who checked me in was so helpful and gave me all sorts of great information. The bathroom was very nicely remodeled with beautiful blue tile and a huge walk-in shower. Room and grounds were spotless. Nice little fireplace and great beach access! Really impressed and highly recommend!

We stayed two nights at Tomales Bay Resort, to visit Point Reyes National Seashore. It’s a great location, quick drive to towns and Point Reyes. The room was not fancy but was very clean and we liked it. There is a pool and beaches on the property. The staff was very nice. Highly recommend.

The room was super cute and clean! The grounds were so well maintained! The front desk staff was very accommodating. The setting on the bay is beautiful! So much better than I anticipated!
