Tiny Shiny Retreat

We loved Tiny Shiny Retreat! We celebrated our wedding anniversary there in September, and stayed in one of the tents. The bed was so comfy and cozy, and the outdoor shower with hot water was amazing! We were the only ones there at the time and it was so quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting out by the fire in the evening, and looking at the stars. Sparta is a quick jaunt down the road for dining, but there is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen complete with a French press to make coffee. There is a beach area just down the road that we drove. It was perfect for swimming or kayaking! We loved it so much that before we even left, we were discussing when we would go back!

We had such a great little getaway here! The location was perfect—beautiful and outdoorsy, with trees, fresh air, and that peaceful “away-from-it-all” feeling, but still super easy to get to. Elizabeth made the whole trip feel effortless from the start. The space itself was clean, well-designed, and just right for our little family. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and our daughter loved the bunk bed—it quickly became her favorite part of the stay. The cooling worked perfectly, which made relaxing indoors after a day outside really nice. We loved how everything was thoughtfully set up and easy to navigate—from check-in to finding what we needed inside. It had a great balance of comfort and simplicity. We loved our stay at Tiny Shiny Retreat! The Lily tent was the perfect backdrop for a sister getaway weekend. Jordan and Elizabeth do an incredible job making a campsite feel elevated and special, from the welcome basket featuring local suggestions and treats to a fully furnished outdoor kitchen. 5 stars, would book again!

My girls and I had a great stay at the Tiny Shiny Retreat! My 7 year old wants us to buy an Airstream now. Zero chance of that when I can just come back and stay at this one for less than a hotel. I’m into the outdoors but not camping so the Airstream was a great compromise for me. The fire, picnic table, lake, hammock, and bunk beds really did it for the girls. Thanks!

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at Tiny Shiny. All the amenities were simple, yet spot on. We weren't missing a single thing! The property was quiet, private, and exactly what we needed. Perfect crossover between camping and "glamping" -- still felt like we were in the woods but had everything we needed to feel comfortable.
